Hi Everyone!
I’m very happy to share with you this month’s project for #simplyG45 challenge.
I made two shabby cards with the gorgeous A Ladies’ Diary and Baby 2 Bride collections.
For my first card, I used papers and chipboards from A Ladies’ Diary Collection, my all times favorite collection.
I created the layers with papers and fussy cut elements for extra dimension.
TIP: I like to alternate between dark and light shades so the colors won’t blend too much. By doing this, it creates contrast and you can see all the beautiful papers and layers.
I added this gorgeous sticker tag from A Ladies’ Diary as the centerpiece, along with a simple text.
My second card was with leftover papers. You can use the smallest papers to create a beautiful background for your projects. I’ll show you how to create the background in the tutorial at the end of this post.
Again, I tried to create a lot of layers with papers and embellishments. Since my card is very simple, I decided to use the chipboard from Baby 2 Bride for a special touch.
TIP: I like to glue three our four layers of the frame together to create a thick piece. This adds dimension to your projects without using expensive foam tape. Also, it gives the frame a better finish.
I hope you enjoyed the cards and don’t forget to check the tutorial below.
